Day 01.- Arrival in Lima - Transfer to your Hotel
Upon arrival at the airport in Lima, our driver will be waiting for you and then transfer you to your hotel in Miraflores (it is the best place). If you arrive in the morning, you will have time to visit Lima or Miraflores.
Day 02.- Flight from Lima to Cusco - Hotel
This day depends on your departure time
Three hours before, we will transfer you from your hotel to the Lima airport,
Upon arrival in Cusco you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 03.- Sacred Valley Tour - Hotel
Today we board our tourist transportation and head to the Sacred Valley, along the trip our guide will tell us about the Sacred Valley, Chincheros, Ollantaytambo, Pisac. We will spend the day exploring ruins, markets and learning about the Peruvian lifestyle, history and culture of the Incas. Then return to the hotel.
Day 04.- Cusco - Cachora - Capuliyoc - Santa Rosa
We will pick you up from your hotel early at approximately 4:00 am and travel approximately 2 hours to the village of Curawasi, where we will stop for breakfast and then continue 2 more hours to Capuliyoc, where we will meet our muleteers and walk approximately 3 hours to Chikisca, where we will have lunch. Then 1-hour descent to the Apurimac Canyon. After crossing the river, we begin the tough 2 hours climb to Santa Rosa camp at 2095m. The guide may change the lunch and camp sites, depending on the progress of the group.
Please note that there may be biting insects on the trail, so it will be necessary to use repellent. It can be very hot on the way.
Day 05.- Santa Rosa - Marampata - Choquequirao
Today we start early approx. 6.00am. We ascend for 3 hours to Marampata 2,940m. where we will see the first views of Choquequirao then 2 hours more to reach the ruins. With only 30% of the site excavated today, Choquequirao is still somewhat shrouded in mystery. The complex consists of an extensive complex of terraces, irrigation canals and various religious and administrative buildings spread over 1800 hectares. And all this against the dramatic backdrop of the Apurimac Canyon.
We will spend the afternoon exploring the ruins, watch the sunset and cross our fingers for a chance to see condors.
Day 06.- Choquequirao - Rio Blanco - Maizal
This morning we will climb a ridge for 2 hours and then descend for 3 hours to the ruins of Pinchiunuyoc. There we will take a short break at these ruins to admire the majestic views, and then continue descending for another 1.5 - 2 hours until we reach Rio Blanco 1880 m. our campsite for lunch. After a rest, we will be ready to climb 3 hours up a zigzag trail to a cleared agricultural area on the mountainside known as Maizal 3000 m. camp.
Day 07.- Maizal - Victoria Mines - Yanama
Today after a hearty breakfast, we are ready to tackle a slightly difficult section of the Choquequirao to Machu Picchu adventure trek: a 3 to 4-hour zigzag ascent to the Victoria Mines. Resting place observing the shiny rocks then we continue along an Inca trail zigzagging well preserved road until we reach the San Juan Pass 4150 m. From here, we descend for 2.5 h to the charming village of Yanama 3700m. Yanama is one of the villages from where we will have lunch and spend the night.
Day 08.- Yanama - Abra Apacheta - Totora
Early in the morning, we will head towards the highest pass of this trip: Apacheta 4670m. If we are lucky, we will see condors. During the hike we will enjoy the view of snow-capped mountains like Salkantay 6264m. and Pintuyu 5450m. Today our camp will be in the Totora valley.
Day 09.- Totora - La Playa - Santa Teresa
In this place of Totorapampa we will meet Andean people who speak Quechua and live from agriculture and livestock. The vegetation on the road becomes increasingly scarce. We will also see some coffee, papaya, passion fruit and avocado plantations. This day we have lunch on the beach at an altitude of 2100m. then we continue by car to Santa Teresa (1 hour) if the group wishes we can visit the hot springs of Cocalmayo.
Day 10.- Santa Teresa - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes
In the morning after our breakfast we will take a transport to hydroelectric 1h. From there, our trip continues for 2 to 3 hours to the town of "Aguas Calientes" 2050m. Overnight in hotel
Day 11.- Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu- Cusco - Hotel
This day we will have an early breakfast then we leave approx. 5:30am we take a bus for 20 minutes to climb Machu Picchu 2,400m. after a guided tour of the most important places of the fortress where the guide will explain then have time to walk in the place, then we go down to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch and visit the hot springs. Then we take the train back to Cusco, Poroy or Ollantaytambo
Day 12.- Tours to Colorful Mountain - Hotel
This day we will pick you up at 4:00 am. Directly from your hotel to start our trip to the south of Cusco through beautiful landscapes of valleys and agricultural communities. The trip takes about 3 hours to reach the community of Pitumarca, where we will have breakfast. Then we will continue driving for 30 minutes more to the community of Fulawasipata, where we will start with the hike up to the colorful mountains that takes about 2 ½ hours on the way we will see alpacas, llamas and traditional local houses, at the top we will have enough time to take pictures, to see beautiful red mountains, then we will descend for 2 hours to the beginning of our trekking point. There our transport will be waiting for us and then we will return to Pitumarca where we will have lunch and then to Cusco. It takes approximately 12 hours.
Day 13.- Flight from Cusco to Arequipa - Hotel
This day you will be transferred to the airport depending on your departure time.
Upon arrival at the airport in Arequipa our team will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.
If you arrive in the morning you will have time to visit Arequipa.
Day 14.- Arequipa - Colca Canyon - Hotel Chivay
This tour begins with the "pick up" of the passengers in their respective hotel. We take the Yura road towards the Colca Valley, after 03 hours of travel, we will have a panoramic view of Chivay. Arrival to Chivay. Breakfast at the hotel, where we will leave the things and then continue the trip to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, where we will appreciate the second deepest canyon in the world of 3,400 m.a.s.l. and the majestic flight of the condor. We will also visit the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque. Where you will see different Hispanic churches. In the town of Yanque we will visit the thermal baths of the communities, natural pools, we will arrive to Chivay for our buffet lunch, after lunch we will leave you in your hotel to rest and have the afternoon free.
Day 15.- Colca Rafting - Hotel Arequipa
The tour begins at the starting point in Ipo and runs more than 7 kilometers of the Colca River, duration of approximately one hour and a half to reach the charming village of Tuti. The water temperature of the Colca River ranges between 5 and 6 degrees Celsius, and the rapids have a level of difficulty between 2 and 3. Then we return to the town of Chivay, have lunch, and then return to Arequipa, making stops in Patapampa (4910 m.), also called the viewpoint of the Colca. ) also called the viewpoint of the volcanoes, because from there you can see the chain of volcanoes especially: Hualcahualca, Sabancaya, Ampato, then continue, toqrapampa where we will appreciate lagoons, wetlands, some migratory birds such as flamingos, ibis, etc.. Then, we make the last stop in Pampa Cañahuas, to arrive to the city of Arequipa at 5:00 p.m. Approximately. Overnight at your hotel in Arequipa.
Day 16.- Arequipa - Base Camp Chachani
After our breakfast at the hotel we leave Arequipa around 7.30am-8.00am in a 4x4 vehicle to the descent station at 5'000m. From there we start walking to the base camp at 5'300m. It normally takes between 1 and 2 hours to get there. The hike during the first day is quite short and not too difficult. At base camp we will set up the tents and have dinner at approximately 5:00 pm and then rest for the next day.
Day 17.- Base camp - Chachani Volcano top 6,057m. - Hotel Arequipa
Early in the morning around 1:00 am we will have a quick breakfast (coca tea, coffee, milk, etc.) then we will start ascending for 6 to 7 hours to reach the summit, from the top we will have a beautiful view of Arequipa and the whole chain of volcanoes. After spending some time at the summit, we will go down to the base camp, there we will drink, eat something, then we will collect all our belongings and then we will go down to the station where the car will be waiting for us. We will be back in Arequipa around 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Day 18.- Flight from Arequipa to Lima - Hotel
This day you will be transferred to the airport depending on your departure time.
Upon arrival at the airport in Lima our driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.
Day 19.- Transfer from your Hotel to Lima airport
Depending on your departure time,
you will be transferred three hours before your international flight.
